The Voice: Back by Popular Demand

“The Voice”, is back for its second round of chair turning and mind blowing adventure; airing right after the Superbowl on February 5th, 2012.
The coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are back to mentor artists from different walks of life and help them achieve their goals. And of course, Carson Daly is hosting as well, to help keep the show moving.
With so many singing shows out there, “The Voice” stood alone in the first season with its interesting twists. First, there was no age limit, then the coaches held blind auditions with their backs to the singer, and if they like what they heard they pressed a button to get a look at the singer. Then they ask the singer to join their team. That was the secret sauce that drew the audience to NBC’s, “The Voice” every week. People tuned in to see what was going to happen next.  With every performance people questioned and wondered why these singers didn’t have a record deal. This was obviously due the record breaking iTunes sales after every show. Last season, each coach was able to pick eight people to join their team; this time around they are able to pick twelve who range from opera singers, to MC’s to soul singers.
Last seasons’ winner, Javier Colon’s new album “Come Through for You” is due out November. And third runner up, Beverly McClellan is releasing her album, “Fear Nothing”, on November 21st.
The great thing about ,“The Voice” is that everyone who gets on the stage is either good or great. There are no “wanna be” singers. Mark Burnett believes, “The Voice” is “epic television”. All the coaches are current award winning, record selling, touring artist that have been there and done that. With  different and suspenseful coaching,  an amazing judging process and talent that will blow your mind; “The Voice” is the show watch in February.
